Notes about Email Configuration
|
|
 |
| |
|
1.Your password is case-sensitive
This means that if you used any capital letters when originally entering your password, you MUST capitalize those letters when entering your password in the future.
2. Your email address is not case-sensitive.
You may use either capital or lowercase letters interchangeably to access your account.(This statement only applies to users who use windows.)
3.Using your mail client with webmail.
If you choose to use both webmail and your mail client, any mail that you receive will be visible within webmail only until you download it to your mail client. Once you have downloaded your mail within your mail client, you will no longer have access to it within webmail. Also, any mail that you move from your inbox to another folder wihin webmail will not download to your mail client-it will remain in your webmail account.
4.There is a 10MB server storage size limit on basic accounts.
Any mail coming into the server for you after you have reached the 10MB storage limit will be bounced back to the sender. To ensure that this does not happen, make sure that the "keep a copy of my mail on the server" option is not selected within your mail client.
5. There is a 1MB email size limit.
Anything larger than this will be bounced back to the sender.
