Disconnect after sending and receiving e-mail
The following instruction is for any email client that has "Hang up after sending and receiving" option enable.
The only email program that will not have this problem is netscape.

Outlook Express
If you are using the Microsoft Outlook Express e-mail client and you are being disconnected after you check for new mail, complete the following instructions to resolve the issue:
1.Open Outlook Express.
2.From the
Tools menu, select
Options.
3.Select the
Connection tab.
4.Ensure that the box next to
Hang up after sending and receiving is
NOT checked.
5.Click
OK.
You will now be able to send and receive mail without being disconnected.
Outlook
If you are using the Microsoft Outlook e-mail client and you are being disconnected after you check for new mail, complete the following instructions to resolve the issue:

Mail Delivery tab.
4.Ensure that the box next to
Hang up after sending and receiving is
NOT checked.

You will now be able to send and receive mail without being disconnected.
Eudora
If you are using the Eudora e-mail client and you are being disconnected after you check for new mail, complete the following instructions to resolve the issue:
1.Open Eudora.
2.From the
Tools menu, select
Options.
3.Select the
Internet Dialup tab.
4.Ensure that the box next to
Hang up after sending and receiving is
NOT checked.
5.Click
OK.
You will now be able to send and receive mail without being disconnected.
