Shared SSL Certificate

All Shared hosting accounts at Webpipe include the use of our Shared SSL Certificate. To request this to be set up for your site, just email us or submit a support ticket with the request including the domain name that you want set up. Also, if you would like us to configure a directory other than your normal non-secure DocumentRoot, please let us know that before we set it up.


We will set up your site so that it is accessible from https://secure.webpipe.net/YOURDOMAIN.COM/ Our secure server will accept requests and then Proxy those to your real web server. Depending on how your HTML is written, you may have to change absolute paths to relative paths in order for images and links to work correctly. If your site uses some kind of server-side user sessions, you may also have to pass the session identifier through when requesting the page on the secure server.
