Outlook disconnects after checking mail

When Outlook Express disconnects after checking mail, disable "Hang up after sending and receiving".

Open Outlook Express
Select Tools
Selection Options
Select Connection Tab
Remove Check Mark from "Hang up after sending and receiving"
